Learn the art of needle felting or build on your existing skills as you create a spooky Halloween jack-o'-lantern!
In this hands-on class, participants will sculpt a three-dimensional wool pumpkin and bring it to life with a face that's as spooky, silly, or whimsical as they can imagine. Needle felting is a dry-felting technique that uses specialized barbed needles to interlock wool fibers, allowing you to create solid, sculptural forms with surprising detail.
Needle felting is a relaxing, forgiving, and approachable fiber art that is well suited to beginners and experienced makers alike. Please note, however, that the needles are extremely sharp, and the process involves repetitive hand movements. Participants should be comfortable working carefully with sharp tools.
