Join local fiber artist Erin Carlson of Red Cottage Fiber Studio in crafting an American Robin and nest from wool. Needle felting is a dry felting technique utilizing specialized needles to sculpt three dimensional forms from wool. During this class we will closely observe the markings of this beautiful bird and iconic blue eggs to create a lovely miniature decoration. No experience is necessary, but please note we will be working with very sharp needles and repetitive hand movements. All materials will be sent home should you need more time or would like to continue your adventures in needle felting!
