Join local fiber artist Erin Carlson of Red Cottage Fiber Studio in crafting a magical Toadstool House from wool. Needle felting is a dry felting technique utilizing specialized needles to sculpt solid three dimensional forms from wool. During this class we will create miniature mushrooms and then adorn them with doors, windows, chimneys, flower boxes, and anything else you can think of. The limit is your imagination! No experience is necessary, but please note that we will be working with very sharp needles and repetitive hand movements on a miniature scale. All materials will be sent home should you need more time or would like to continue your adventures in needle felting!
